We are working with a national insurance broker who are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team in Billericay. The role involves providing day-to-day support for a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance arrangements are managed accurately and efficiently.
The Role
Handle day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
Prepare and process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy documentation.
Liaise with clients, insurers, and Account Executives to resolve queries.
Support Account Executives with renewal reports and meeting preparation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA requirements.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through reliable service.
Skills and Experience
Experience as a Commercial Account Handler or in a similar broking role.
Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and administration skills.
Clear communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with clients and insurers.
Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
Cert CII or working towards (desirable).
