Job Overview:
SAPA Transmission is seeking a skilled and proactive Training & HR Coordinator to lead all training and development initiatives across our corporate headquarters — which also serves as our production, testing, and manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing training programs that support employee onboarding, compliance, skills development, and continuous learning across all departments. This role will also provide support in recruitment efforts and assist with a variety of HR functions as needed.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage training programs across all departments— with a focus on onboarding, safety, skills development, and continuous improvement.
Create engaging, role-specific training content and materials in collaboration with department managers and subject matter experts.
Facilitate and deliver training sessions in both classroom and hands-on environments.
Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance data, and refine programs accordingly.
Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs that require external resources, and work closely with the local community college to develop, coordinate, and schedule relevant training programs that support workforce development.
Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
Support recruitment efforts as needed, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
Work with senior leadership to identify skill gaps and support workforce development strategies.
Assist with other HR functions and projects as needed to support departmental goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in training, HR, or workforce development; experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to design, deliver, and manage training programs.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Experience working with external training providers or educational institutions.
Ability to adapt and collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in recruiting preferred.
