The Carabetta Companies is looking to hire an experienced Human Recourse Recruiter to work on-site out of their corporate office in Meriden, CT
The Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, and onboarding of candidates across various departments. This role leverages the ADP Recruiting and Onboarding systems to streamline candidate tracking, communication, and new hire integration.
Hours: On-site, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay: Depending on Experience
The responsibilities of the Human Recourse Recruiter are:
Collaborate with department managers to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
Post job openings on ADP and various external job boards, social media, and career sites.
Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, resume databases, referrals, and industry events.
Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring roles.
Review applications and resumes in the ADP Recruiting system.
Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, interest, and cultural fit.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain accurate candidate records and notes within ADP.
Initiate and manage the onboarding process through the ADP platform.
Send conditional offer letters and ensure completion of new hire documents (W-4, I-9, direct deposit, etc.).
Schedule pre-employment screenings and verify results.
Communicate start dates and onboarding plans to all relevant departments.
Conduct or coordinate Day One onboarding sessions and ensure all equipment/access is prepared.
Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies during hiring process.
Track recruiting metrics and provide reports to HR leadership.
Support offboarding and internal transfers, as needed.
The qualifications of the Human Recourse Recruiter are:
3+ years of solid recruiting experience - MUST
Experience with ADP Workforce Now Recruiting & Onboarding tools - MUST
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities at once.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
Reliable transportation, valid license
1st Shift
8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
