Job Description

We are looking for a creative, driven, and collaborative Research Associate to join our

R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge RNA technologies and

contribute to the development of high-throughput discovery platforms. The ideal candidate

brings strong molecular biology skills and a passion for innovation in RNA therapeutics.

Reports to: Director of Translational Research

Primary Responsibilities:

● Perform molecular and cell biology experiments in support of platform discovery efforts.

● Assist in the design, execution, and troubleshooting of experiments involving genomics

tools in cell and animal models.

● Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to data analysis and

interpretation.

● Participate in the management and organization of laboratory supplies and the logistical

operations of the lab.

● Collaborate closely with team members across functional areas in a fast-paced

environment.

Desired experince and skill set:

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years or a Master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant

laboratory experience.

● Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular cloning, in vitro transcription

(IVT), flow cytometry, luciferase reporter assay, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), RNAScope,

and western blot.

● Animal handling experience including injections, blood collection, and tissue processing

including IVIS imaging desired.

● Experience with Massively Parallel Reporter Assays (MPRAs), using either reporter

expression or NGS as readout desired.

● Familiarity with single-cell RNA sequencing workflows (e.g., 10x Genomics), including

sample prep and library generation.

● Exposure to CRISPR-based functional genomics screens is a plus.

● Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and scientific curiosity.

● Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
