Job Description

Precise Power Systems is a small family-owned engineering and fabrication company that specializes in designing and building custom fluid delivery systems for marine naval propulsion and industrial power systems.

We are looking for a highly motivated IT Specialist who has experience with IT management including networking, servers, cloud, endpoint, active directory.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the implementation of IT and cybersecurity controls required for CMMC compliance.

Work with leadership to identify and document existing gaps in cybersecurity practices.

Configure and manage endpoint protection, firewalls, access controls, and patch management systems.

Support secure system configurations, encryption, and user authentication practices.

Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures required for CMMC audits.

Collaborate with external consultants/auditors to prepare for CMMC assessments.

Monitor, log, and report on cybersecurity events in alignment with DFARS/NIST 800-171 standards.

Required Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on IT administration experience (networking, servers, cloud, endpoints, Active Directory, etc.).

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 GCC High, Azure AD, and endpoint security tools.

Experience with network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools).

Familiarity with CMMC framework (levels 1–2), NIST 800-171, and DFARS requirements.

Ability to draft and maintain IT/cybersecurity policies, procedures, and system security plans (SSPs).

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting CMMC, NIST 800-171, or other federal cybersecurity compliance programs.

Relevant certifications: Security+ or CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP).

Experience in a manufacturing environment (OT/IT integration, ERP systems, CNC machines with network connectivity).

Familiarity with incident response planning and vulnerability assessments.

Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOC tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.).Company Description
