Purchasing Manager

Tooele County seeks an experienced professional to lead countywide purchasing and asset management.

The Purchasing Manager oversees procurement, surplus property disposition, and property/liability insurance coordination to ensure practices are transparent, cost-effective, legally compliant, and aligned with County goals and policies.

The Purchasing Manager partners with department heads, vendors, and insurers to safeguard public assets and deliver efficient, high-quality service.nEducation and ExperiencenBachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with three years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, contract administration, asset management, or public administration.

Government experience is preferred.
