Testing Engineer – Automotive Business

As a Testing Engineer – Automotive Business you will be mainly responsible for:

Manage test rig operations and oversee test rig operations, including defining test procedures, executing tests, and documenting results.

Communicate with test requestors and customers: maintaining a clear and effective communication with test requestors and customers to understand their requirements and provide feedback on test outcomes.

Prepare official reports: compile comprehensive reports detailing all test information, results, and related evaluations.

Support technicians: prepare instructions for technicians on test bench set-up and test procedure, provide continuous support to technicians throughout the testing activities to ensure smooth operations.

Send final reports: ensure timely delivery of final report documents to the requester.

Improve test operations: actively seek and implement improvements in test operations within your area of responsibility.

Testing development: contribute to the development of test benches and test procedures

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field

Experience with testing operations, general understanding of mechanical engineering and data acquisition;

Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking;

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;

Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken; German will be considered a plus;

Good knowledge of Micorsoft Office;

Availability to travel;

The position will be located in Airasca, on a local contract.

You will report to the Automotive HBU Testing Italy Manager.
