Executive Chef

For our client, Urban Italian Group (UIG), a modern Italian restaurant brand with a growing presence across Sweden, we are hiring a hands-on Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations across two casual-dining restaurant concepts in Malmö. If you’re passionate about Italian-Mediterranean cuisine, cost control, and leading large kitchen teams, this could be your next big move.

Information and Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Executive Chef or senior Head Chef in a high-volume setting

• Strong working knowledge of Italian or Mediterranean cuisine preferred

• Must have experience managing high-output kitchen operations

• Skilled in food & labor cost control, inventory, and portion consistency

• Experience in restructuring and scaling teams effectively

• Fluent in English (Swedish is a bonus)

• Solid understanding of HACCP and food safety compliance

About the Job:

• Full-time, permanent position based in Malmö, Sweden

• Salary starting from: 3.600 € to 4.200 € gross/month plus bonuses and tips

• Directly manage 2 Head Chefs and lead a large kitchen team

• Oversee a total of 400+ seats across 2 restaurants

• Hands-on role with only approx. 25 admin hours per month

• Focused on food cost, consistency, team productivity, and compliance

• Reports directly to senior leadership at UIG

• Accommodation assistance provided for candidates relocating to Sweden
