Investment Analyst - Venture Debt

Our client, a leading European growth lender is currently seeking an Investment Analyst to join its London-based team. If successful, you will provide innovative debt solutions to high-growth, entrepreneurial businesses across technology, healthcare, and other dynamic sectors. The role offers exposure to the full deal cycle, from market research and due diligence to portfolio monitoring. Analysts will support origination, prepare investment materials, track opportunities, and contribute to sector research, particularly in technology and life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

Support origination, due diligence, and execution of new investments

Prepare investment committee materials and portfolio reports

Conduct market and sector research, tracking deal flow

Requirements:

Strong academic background (2.1 degree minimum; CFA/ACA preferred)

3+ years’ experience in investment banking, VC, PE, private credit, or similar

Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills

Excellent communication and report-writing ability
