Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both facility and production equipment. This role covers a wide range of electrical and mechanical work, supporting the company’s operational goals through safe, preventive, and predictive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

Install, service, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment to minimize downtime.

Respond to emergency breakdowns during production and carry out scheduled maintenance during planned service times.

Take ownership of designated machine components and collaborate with the maintenance team on plant-wide repairs and preventive tasks.

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, plumbing, and control systems.

Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders to complete service tasks.

Diagnose equipment issues, repair or replace defective parts, and verify proper operation through testing and adjustments.

Work with PLCs and VFDs (Siemens S7/TIA Portal preferred; Allen Bradley VFD experience is also valued).

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician

Associate degree or technical training preferred.

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent background.

Commercial electrical experience strongly preferred.

Solid hands-on experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical/electronic circuits.

1st shift, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $33.00 - $35.00 an hour, based on experience
