FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8AM - 6PM (MAY INCLUDE SOME WEEKENDS AND ATTENDANCE AT TRADE SHOWS WHEN REQUIRED)

£28,000 - £35,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our well-established client based in EDINBURGH, Scotland on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will be office and field based visiting retail stores to promote products.

Day to Day Duties

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing wholesale clients

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or product lines

Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs

Present and promote products to potential and existing customers through meetings, trade shows, and product demonstrations

Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies and profitability goals

Process orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to clients

Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems

Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Essential Skills

Must have a full driving licence

Proven experience (two years+ preferred) in wholesale, B2B sales, or account management

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events (as needed)

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred

Desirable Experience

A background in face-to-face sales would be desirable

Training

Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
