Finance Manager

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking, for a Finance Manager for a leading manufacturing company based in Kaduwela. This is a pivotal role encompassing the full spectrum of financial management responsibilities. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements, and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.

Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Oversee capital expenditure (CapEx) and project accounting, including feasibility assessments.

Handle taxation, fixed asset management, and operational finance.

Manage banking and treasury functions to optimize cash flow and working capital.

Ensure compliance with legal and secretarial requirements.

Conduct plant performance management through detailed variance analysis.

Drive product cost management and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Support strategic projects that enhance business efficiency and long-term profitability.

Maintain strong risk and control frameworks to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.

Proven experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.

Hands-on experience in costing, CapEx evaluation, and operational finance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
