Job Title: Physician Urology
Join a dedicated team at a modern, community-focused hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont. This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist to provide high-quality care in a state-of-the-art facility while enjoying a healthy work-life balance. The practice is located on the scenic campus of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, offering a supportive environment and a chance to be part of a collaborative healthcare team. Job Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patients.
Deliver care in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital settings.
Work collaboratively with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner.
Perform surgical procedures in state-of-the-art operating rooms.
Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department.
Participate in a light on-call rotation, covering one hospital site for 7 days per month (1:4 call schedule).
No involvement in trauma cases or robotic surgeries.
Utilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Manage an average of patients per day.
Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Open to new graduates; will consider candidates with lapsed board certification if willing to recertify. Qualifications:
Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
Clean malpractice history.
Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada.
Active Vermont medical license (must be obtained prior to start). Licenses and Certifications Required:
Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
DEA certification.
BLS certification.
