JOB SUMMARY: Create and Maintain detailed AutoCad space plans of all University buildings 12 Million Sq.
Ft.). Load metadata into AiM Space Management Software.
Generate accurate reports and deliverables for University stakeholders, including archival building documentation.
Conduct field verification as needed to support ongoing data accuracy.
JOB DUTIES: 40% - Essential - CAD Space Management: Create and maintain detailed AutoCAD and Revit-based space plans.
(All plans must be polylined to the 2010 FICM/SCUP standards with polylines being to interior finished wall; all drawings must follow AIA drawing layering conventions or Clemson's layering conventions). Links CAD drawings to AIM via the CAD integrator.
(All space plans must be within 1% accuracy to ensure the integrity of AiM). 30% - Essential - Data Management: Enters and manages metadata captured from field verification and project deliverables, including BIM models into the AiM Space Management System.
Ensures all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner to support operational reporting and planning.
Generates detailed reports from AiM for University stakeholders and external partners.
911 address data is obtained directly from the county and incorporated as needed for emergency response and location accuracy.
15% - Essential - Space Audit: Conducts space audits to verify the accuracy of floor plans and room numbers.
Survey data is used to update CAD drawings, Revit models, and associated metadata prior to integration into the AiM Space Management System.
New or renovated buildings are entered into AiM within one month of receiving final as-built documentation.
All other facilities are reviewed on a rolling basis, with each building audited at least once per year.
This position is responsible for assigning room numbers in accordance with the University Facilities Room Numbering Guidelines and ensuring compliance with established space data standards.
15% - Essential - Archival Activities: Provides University stakeholders with essential archival building information to support maintenance, renovations, and planning.
Manages the intake of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and project specifications from project managers upon completion.
Assists project teams by scanning, organizing, and distributing building plans as needed.
Maintains and updates the University s SharePoint vault and related websites to ensure the latest floor plans and documentation are readily accessible and properly archived MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School or Equivalent And drafting experience.
Work Experience: 2+ years PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Education - Associate's Degree - Architectural Design, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Construction Management, or a related field.
OR Education - Bachelor's Degree - Experience with Revit, BIM, AiM, SharePoint, and space standards (e.g., FICM/SCUP). Familiarity with RESPONSIBILITIES JOB KNOWLEDGE Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

Standard Hours: 37.5 COMPENSATION INFORMATION Expected Salary Range: ($55,000 - $64,044) Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
