Summary The Test Engineering Technician provides hands-on support to production by completing test operations as defined by released engineering.
The Test Engineering Technician will coach and train Test Operators, as well as problem solve testing issues and provide solutions.
The Test Engineering Technician will work closely with the Quality and Production team to identify and solve functional problems in the test process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Observe the performance of electrical testing for VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Time Delay, and Capacitance Supervise and monitor in-process and final testing Trouble-shoot production hardware electrical problems Create Test Data sheets, manage Test Data, and review for accuracy Support Production as needed by creating Cable Harness Method Sheets, assembling harnesses, and other tasks as assigned Develop and initiate training procedures for Test Operators and provide ongoing coaching and training for Test Operators Maintain applicable training records Qualifications/Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent education Experience in wire/cable harness manufacturing Experience in electro-mechanical testing and using network analyzers preferred Excellent problem solving abilities Excellent computer skills Experience in aerospace industry a plus
