Technical Assistance Specialist (Medicaid Health Systems Specialist)

What You Will Do at ODM: Office: Operations Bureau: Business Operational Support Classification: Medicaid Health Systems Specialist (PN 20047432) Job Overview: As the Technical Assistance Specialist, you will: * Monitor and evaluate providers, projects, program or service delivery * Develop and present Medicaid eligibility training sessions for county staff, state agencies and other stakeholders * Respond to Medicaid eligibility technical assistance inquiries from county agencies and stakeholders * Develop processes and procedures for County Department of Job and Family Services eligibility determinations * Identify opportunities for trainings on Medicaid policy changes and Ohio Benefits system enhancements * Develop desk aids, developmental materials and guides on Medicaid eligibility policy and systems procedures * Represent bureau at conferences, meetings, and training presentations Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, social or behavioral science, health or statistics; additional 24 months experience specific to subject area of which 12 months experience in use of spreadsheet and database software.

* Or 24 months experience as Medicaid Health Systems Analyst, (65291). * Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required.
