The Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in driving profitable growth by owning the review, analysis, and approval of contract proposals and quotes within their assigned region(s). Acting as a trusted business partner to the Commercial team, this role ensures pricing decisions align with business strategies while balancing margin optimization and sales growth.

The Pricing Analyst also serves as a key contributor to the annual renegotiation process, ensures compliance with pricing policies, and supports special initiatives such as model transitions, channel strategy, and process improvements.

**Position** Pricing Analyst **Location** USA, Louisville, KY **How You'll Create Possibilities** **Key Responsibilities** **Pricing Evaluation & Approval** + Review, analyze, and approve contract proposals and quotes, ensuring compliance with established pricing policies and processes.

+ Make informed pricing recommendations that optimize profitability and competitiveness.

**Business Partnership & Strategy** + Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, and Finance teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that support growth objectives.

+ Provide insights and guidance during negotiations to help balance margin improvement with sales opportunities.

**Contract & Policy Management** + Support annual customer contract renegotiations, ensuring adherence to pricing policies and guidelines.

+ Monitor market dynamics and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.

**Data Analysis & Reporting** + Conduct detailed pricing, margin, and profitability analyses.

+ Develop clear reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

**Special Projects & Initiatives** + Partner on strategic initiatives such as model transitions, go-to-market strategies, and channel pricing.

+ Provide ad hoc support on projects that impact regional or enterprise pricing strategies.

**Process & Systems Improvement** + Leverage pricing tools (e.g., Pricefx, quoting systems) to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

+ Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and enhance pricing governance.

**What You'll Bring to Our Team** **Qualifications** **Required:** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in Pricing, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or Data Analytics.

+ Strong business acumen with proven quantitative and analytical skills (advanced Excel required). + High attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred / Desired Characteristics:** + Bachelor's degree in Pricing, Finance, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Purchasing, or Economics.

+ Working knowledge of Pricefx or similar pricing tools.

+ Experience with quote systems and pricing processes.

+ Understanding of price channels and contract go-to-market strategies.

+ Familiarity with GE Appliances product lineups and industry dynamics.
