This healthcare-focused company that provides pharmacy benefit management (PBM) solutions and health insurance services is looking for their next Accounts Receivable Clerk!
This position is remote with restrictions and on occasion is expected to come into office for events/ training/ meetings.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable Experience with b2b collections and cash applications Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or any other related field of study preferred Job Description The AR Clerk is responsible for processing day-to-day cash receipts from customers into Sage Intacct and other internal systems, managing customer communications regarding invoice collection, and addressing other customer inquiries.
This role involves solving customer billing issues and managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, self-driven, and has a meticulous eye for detail.
Responsibilities include: + Analyze cash application and collection procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
+ Prepare reports and provide cash collection trends for better cash flow management while enforcing billing deadlines.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
+ Perform detailed analysis to respond to billing and invoicing inquiries.
+ Review daily incoming banking transactions and book accordingly.
+ Prepare aging reports and update/reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.
+ Update and maintain customer records in the ERP system.
+ Proactively monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts in a timely manner.
+ Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by manager.
+ Participate in audits, process documentation, and process improvement.
+ Manage the suspension and/or cancellation of accounts.
+ Inform management and account management teams regarding potential issues and escalate situations as appropriate.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
