Job Description Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication and assembly, is seeking a Welder to join their team.

As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder Location: Cresco, IA Pay Range: $19+ varies by experience.

Shift: 1st What's the Job?Perform set up, fit, fabricate, and wire feed (MIG) weld standard aluminum or steel components on a repetitive line of standard products.Weld straight to minimal curving, ensuring no grader distances greater than 12 inches.Verify welding results by inspecting and testing welds for quality and conformance.Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work from sketches or verbal instructions.Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding, supporting sanitary welding and fitting of parts.

What's Needed?Ability to read, write, and understand instructions, procedures, drawings, and blueprints.Minimum of 6 months’ previous welding experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units accurately.Able to accurately read a tape measure and operate basic hand tools.Must pass pre-employment welding skills assessment.
