Compliance Lawyer

Our client is seeking a Compliance lawyer to join their forward-thinking renewable energy company committed to shaping the energy transition across Europe. This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance governance, compliance, and legal operations in a fast-growing, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update internal policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, ESG standards).

Support compliance training and internal communications.

Monitor regulatory developments and assist in implementation.

Serve as the main point of contact for the external Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Manage internal data protection procedures and maintain documentation.

Drive digitalisation within the Legal & Governance function.

Coordinate with internal teams and external legal partners to ensure efficient workflows.

Your Profile:

Degree in Business Law (LL.B., LL.M.) or similar qualification.

Initial experience in compliance, data protection, or legal operations, ideally in a regulated environment.

Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to work.

Familiarity with GDPR or willingness to learn quickly.

Excellent communication skills in German and English.
