Salary: $18-$22 Hourly

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As the Inside Sales Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of Buildcorp inside sales & customer sales team who will be office-based, handling sales related duties such as quoting, providing technical assistance, liaising with other departments, such as scheduling, shipping, and operations. Providing extreme customer service, is a priority to the position. Position will include telemarketing, man the online chat line, and other sales and customer service-related duties to drive sales. KEY EFFECTIVENESS AREAS/RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties

Main Activities:

Handle incoming telephone inquiries relating to Buildcorp product range, including stock availability, lead times, etc.

Work within and help build team involved in inside sales, lead generation, customer sales support, quoting, and occasionally pulling orders as needed.

Monitor and process, orders from customers.

Monitor incoming email inquiries, answer requests, and follow up leads to build Buildcorp sales.

Liaise with all Manufacturers, Distributors, Product Managers and Production/Scheduling Planners for all product lines keeping open lines of communication with all.

Follow through on all customer enquiries, including liaising with other staff members and getting back to the customer in a timely manner.

Complete quotes for Buildcorp products.

Adopt and impart the Buildcorp USP, value propositions and brand strategies.

Effectively use telephone and email to prospect for new leads including follow up of leads as well as quote follow up.

Attend all Customer Sales support / Sales meetings; be prepared for up to date inquires on all customers and pending orders.

Collect, file & update customer contact information in accordance with the Buildcorp Netsuite database entries.

Liaise with Dispatch and customers to advise on deliverys status and any delivery issues.

Understanding of the warehouse stock inventory and ordering process, assist in Inventory cycle counts.

Assisting in Netsuite entries.

Other Sales Responsibilities:

Actively contribute ideas and solutions for the sales team, including the provision of market intelligence on competitor activities, products, applications and prices.

General Duties:

Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to financial details and customer/supplier details.

Be accountable for your time. Lodge weekly KPI time sheets with your manager.

Understand and maintain correct protocols and SOPs when interacting with other staff, or customers and suppliers.

Teamwork and Leadership Responsibilities:

Be prepared to learn. Call out for additional assistance immediately when a question comes up that you are not highly competent in responding to.

Ensure Customer Service team are efficient in the allocation of resources and tasks including backing up each member as required.

Be a team player. Work with the Buildcorp Team for the good of the whole business.

Abide by communication protocol for all Buildcorp Team members.

Email & phone calls must be responded to promptly.

Manage time in an effective manner, such that all tasks are done in specific time zones each day. Request help if you are becoming overloaded.

Confidentiality is paramount. Any breach of trust will be regarded seriously & addressed in an appropriate manner by senior management. Anyone involved in the Buildcorp Team is required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Preferred knowledge:

Know and value the need for fanatical customer service.

Understanding of basic sales processes.

Understanding the basic accounting and bookkeeping principals.

Understanding of basic principles for business success.

Understanding the principle of maintaining suitable profit margins.

Proficient in both Excel spreadsheets, and Netsuite systems.

Some knowledge of the construction industry.

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
