Join our Digital team as a Senior Frontend Developer and you can help make it happen. Your job? You will play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable user interfaces across platforms — including web and WeChat Mini Programs — using technologies like Vue, Vant, Node.js, and NGINX, while leveraging AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Main responsibilities:

Design and deliver responsive frontend applications across web and mobile platforms, including WeChat Mini Programs, using modern UI frameworks like Vue and Vant.

Implement reusable, well-structured UI components following architectural and UX standards

Lead technical decision-making and mentor junior engineers in frontend technologies and best practices

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate business needs into robust interfaces

Integrate with backend services via RESTful APIs, including frontend-side performance optimization

Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and maintain high-quality code

Own and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, with a focus on test automation and deployment efficiency

Work with NGINX and Node.js to configure frontend delivery environments

Support localization and responsiveness across devices, ensuring accessibility and cross-platform consistency

Participate in Agile processes: sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement sessions

Stay informed on frontend, AI-assisted development, and Tencent Cloud-related innovations

Communicate clearly with global teams in English, and work seamlessly with local Chinese stakeholders

As a senior engineer, you will take ownership of high-impact initiatives, lead frontend strategy discussions, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across teams to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions.

About you:

Experience:

7+ years of professional frontend development experience

Proven experience delivering WeChat Mini Programs, including WXML, WXSS, and mini program APIs

Advanced knowledge of Vue.js, React, or Angular

Strong ability to architect component libraries, micro frontends, and scalable design systems

Experience building mobile-optimized interfaces using Vant, UniApp, or similar lightweight UI frameworks

Proficient with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and build tools like Webpack, Vite

Familiar with Node.js for frontend tooling, scripting, and integration tasks

Hands-on experience with NGINX for web hosting, reverse proxying, and performance tuning

Familiarity with state management libraries like Vuex, Redux

Experience working with GitHub CI/CD pipelines

Soft skills:

Strong “don’t reinvent the wheel” mentality; ability to reuse and integrate existing tools effectively

Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams inside a global engineering team

You move fast, but thoughtfully and with a commitment to quality

High energy, confident, and ambitious individual

Must be a passionate communicator, willing to challenge and enhance ideas while preserving relationships
