Maintenance Technician I

This role involves a variety of skilled maintenance and upkeep tasks across all Western Park facilities, which include the indoor arena, racetrack, ice rink, amphitheater, RV park, corrals, and convention center. Your duties will include landscaping, such as planting, lawn care, and maintaining sprinkler systems, as well as applying fertilizers and pesticides. You'll also handle the daily maintenance and cleaning of the Convention Center, including custodial tasks like painting, waxing, and sanitizing public areas. This position also requires setting up for convention events and maintaining kitchen equipment like grills and fryers.

We're looking for someone with a high school diploma and at least two years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance or construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, and painting. We will also accept an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Please be aware that this position requires you to be available for 24-hour emergency call-outs.

This full-time position offers $19.25 an hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
