Overview
Delavan Holdings is a diversified, growing organization with operations in automotive, RV, resort, and related industries. We are seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our corporate legal team and manage insurance and risk-related legal work across the company. This role handles everything from insurance claims to workers' compensation and will also assist with personal insurance needs for executive leadership..
Key Responsibilities
Manage insurance claims including general liability, property damage, customer incidents, employee accidents, and workers' comp.
Work directly with insurance carriers (Zurich, Encova, IMT) and third-party providers (Medcor, Aclaimant).
Track claims from start to resolution and maintain all required documentation.
Partner with HR on employee claims and safety-related matters.
Handle personal insurance needs for executive leadership.
Organize legal files and provide status updates to leadership.
Assist with other legal support work as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in insurance claims, risk management, or legal support.
Strong knowledge of general liability, workers' compensation, and property/casualty insurance.
Organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Paralegal certificate is a plus, but not required.
