Assemblix Staffing is hiring for a Asset Management Technician for the Plainfield, IN area. We have openings on 1st (days) and 3rd (nights) shift. Pay starts at $16 an hour for days and $16.50 an hour for nights. This is a temp-to-hire position, in which candidates need to work 6 months to get converted. Job Summary

The Asset Management (AM) Technician will work alongside other key AM, Logistics, and National Operations members to assure incoming or outgoing materials have been properly tested to the required criteria based on the technology cutline. AM Technicians will verify material is functional and adheres to all quality standards prior to resell or refurbishment. All failing materials will be separated and treated as end of life (EOL) products.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and test material according to ERI guidelines.

• Input testing information into TrackTech (TT).

• Test and wipe hard drives, separating any that fail.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers for continuous improvement.

• Housekeeping around area to maintain safety and cleanliness

• Report any ideas for efficiency and continuous improvement to Supervisors.

• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and standards.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred;

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience preferred;

Required Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills

• Ability to us Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

• Good verbal and communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 pounds: and to bend, stoop walk, reach overhead.

• Ability to push/pull, squat, twist, and turn without adverse physical injury is mandatory

• Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple initiatives at once

• Be professional and have a positive attitude
