Salary Range:
$34.47 - 36.72 per hour depending on prior experience
Responsibilities:
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all SCCU lending criteria, guidelines, procedures, policies and processes to assist Underwriting Team Members and other lending departments effectively.
Conduct initial onboarding for all new Underwriting Team Members and provide ongoing training.
Monitor all loan queues to ensure department service level standards are met. Track potential trends and issues to identify training needs and recommend process improvements.
Assists Underwriting Team Members with escalations, inter-department escalations and suggests alternatives, and fosters independent decision-making capabilities to exceed expectations and bolster confidence.
Assist in overseeing the daily operation of the Underwriters to ensure the department service level goal is attained.
Assist management in developing reports to track queues, efficiency, product-based reporting for the department and loan turn times.
Completes annual Performance Appraisals (PA's), for each team member and delivers the PA at the appointed time.
Manages and approves time cards and PTO requests in UKG.
Aid management in conducting interviews for potential candidates to select exceptional applicants with the requisite experience for their roles.
Manage department invoices efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely processing and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Requirements:
Education and Training:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in an Underwriting or customer service role is required.
Experience in a financial services environment is preferred.
Prior Leadership experience is preferred.
Schedule:
Full Time during department hours of operation
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 7:00pm.
1st and 2nd Shifts available
Occasional Saturdays may be required 8am - 5pm
