Project Manager

Piper Maddox is supporting one of Canada’s largest infrastructure businesses — a firm behind some of the most ambitious and transformative projects across Canada and North America. With major momentum in their renewables division, they’re looking to bring on a Project Manager to lead a pre-construction utility-scale substation project.

Role Overview:

Oversees the financial performance of the assigned region, ensuring alignment with business plan targets and identifying areas requiring attention.

Regularly reports financial status, workload updates, legal risks, and new opportunities to the Operations Manager.

Addresses and resolves project-level legal issues, escalating complex matters to the Operations Manager when necessary.

Establishes a strong regional management team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities across all operational areas.

Develops staff advancement and succession plans to ensure continuity in key departmental roles.

Experience:

Degree in a relevant field.

Minimum of 4/5 years of experience in a Project Manager role within the electrical/renewable energy sector.

Experience in the Utility Contracting Industry.

Must have experience working with high Voltages/ Substations.
