Shift: Nights, 12 hours a day - 3 shifts a week.

Expected Hours: 36 hours a week

Job Type: Contract, 13 weeks

Note:- 48 hours weekly and 26 weeks contract available upon request

Job Overview:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room of a Level 1 Trauma Center, you will provide direct patient care to individuals of all ages presenting with urgent, emergent, or life-threatening conditions. You will play a key role in stabilizing patients, prioritizing care, and coordinating with physicians and the trauma team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform rapid patient assessments and triage according to acuity.

Provide evidence-based nursing care for medical, surgical, and trauma patients.

Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions.

Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond quickly to emergencies.

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff.

Support trauma activation and follow Level 1 protocols for stabilization and transfer, when needed.

Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up.

Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Must have Level 1 Trauma Experience

Required Qualifications:

Massachusetts RN License

2 years of RN ER experience

BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), TNCC
