Location-Type: Onsite (Conshohocken, PA or Melville, NY)

Start Date Is: Tentatively 10/15

Duration: 15 months (contract)

Compensation Range: $65-75/hr on W2 ONLY!

Job Description:

Join a high-impact government-backed initiative developing a dynamic spectrum sharing system for 5G networks. This hands-on role focuses on full-stack development, testing, and deployment within lab-based cellular environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

\n \n

Build and deploy code for 5G network features related to dynamic spectrum sharing \n

Stand up and test physical network systems in lab environments \n

Develop and integrate components across handsets, base stations, and core networks \n

Modify and enhance open-source 5G stacks (OAI) \n

Conduct simulations, performance testing, and system-level validation \n

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams \n \n

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

\n \n

Expertise in 5G and cellular networks (RAN, Core, UE) \n

C and Python development \n

Experience with spectrum sharing technologies \n

Hands-on work with OAI and UHD/USRP platforms \n

Familiarity with lab-based hardware/software integration \n \n

Nice-to-Haves:

\n \n

Signal processing or telecom protocol development \n

ML/AI experience for spectrum or traffic prediction \n

Experience with RIC/xApps and cloud-native 5G architectures \n

Knowledge of simulation tools (MATLAB, etc.) \n \n
