Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary:

The QC Lab Analyst works in a fast-paced, customer-oriented laboratory environment, analyzing finished product samples prior to release. This growing lab within a dynamic manufacturing site offers opportunities to build new skills, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to high-quality pharmaceutical production.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and document qualitative and quantitative assays on product samples.

Operate primary lab technologies including HPLC and dissolution testing.

Evaluate data for accuracy, precision, and GMP compliance.

Recommend and implement process improvements for lab performance.

Maintain high productivity with strong attention to detail and low error rate.

Ensure proper laboratory technique to avoid contamination or misidentification.

Follow established procedures and SOPs consistently.

Train peers and troubleshoot instrumentation as knowledge allows.

Participate in investigations and provide manufacturing QC support.

Contribute to cleaning verification when required.

Required Experience:

AAS, BA/BS, or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

Willingness and ability to learn in a team environment.

Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

Prior Quality Control experience in pharma or biotech.

GMP documentation and compliance knowledge.

Exposure to SAP, LIMS, Empower3 software.

Experience in incoming inspection, drug product formulation, or in-plant labs.

Required Skills:

Laboratory assays (HPLC, dissolution)

GMP data review and compliance awareness

Strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

Empower3, SAP, LIMS familiarity

QC investigation participation

Manufacturing QC support experience

Additional Skills:

Troubleshooting lab instrumentation

Training others when qualified

Flexibility in adapting to a changing environment

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Must not be Cephalosporin/Penicillin sensitive
