Job Summary
The candidate will work with the sales consultants to design the play structure layouts, meeting budgetary needs. Playcraft utilizes our exclusive in-house software, 'PlayDesigner'. AutoCAD/drafting or graphic design experience will aid in the candidate's adaptability with this software. The candidate will also be responsible for auditing play structure designs to meet safety compliance as required by various standards. We are willing to train a motivated candidate that is committed to professional development.
Design Specialist Job Duties
Work with other designers and aid with the conception of play structures, safety compliance, and finalization of play structures.
Work with our sales consultants to ensure play structures are created based on customer needs and meet requested specifications
Design play structures, layouts, and site plans using PlayDesigner and AutoCAD
Create documents and quotes for assigned projects
Support the Design Manager with daily tasks
Provide quality customer service as needed
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must be punctual, reliable, and exhibit strong work ethic
Must display a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
Must have the availability to work overtime as requested
Must have strong attention to detail
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, strongly preferred
Experience in AutoCAD or comparable software, strongly preferred
Artistic knowledge and skill, strongly preferred
Strong computer skills, strongly preferred
