Press Brake Machine Operator

Financially sound and growing metal fabricator of commercial kitchen ventilation systems has an immediate opening for an:

• Exceptional worker as a full-time Machinist running a Cincinnati machine

• Scheduled working hours of Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm with some overtime required

• Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen required

Daily task include * Safely setting up and operating press brakes to form parts to print and process specifications. * Inspecting parts using common tools such as calipers, micrometers, form gauges, height gauges and protractors. * Communicating with leadership about process problems and solutions. * Working within a defined process to meet quality and time standards using existing work instructions. * Follow and update production control three times throughout your shift or when job status changes. * Continually working to refine processes to improve quality and reduce cycle times

Specific responsibilities include

• Able to use power tools

• Read factory orders

• Accurately read tape measures

• Can read engineering drawings

• Utilize basic shop math

• Ability to inspect product

• Count and stack product

• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions

• Hard working & willing to excel in their profession

• Can stand and move for an entire shift

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment

Education

• Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school is preferred but not required

• Additional training or experience is acceptable

Pay Rate: $20-$25 Based on experience- knowledge of Cincinnati machine a plus!.

Experience of 3 years or more required.
