Afternoon Custodial Leader

An important aspect of the custodian leader's work is the coordination and servicing of all school activities.

Job Responsibilities: * Performs custodial cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned * Responsible for maintaining required building security * Maintains inventory of all custodial supplies * Coordinates with Afternoon Leader to oversee work of shift custodians * Coordinates with Afternoon Leader for evening use of building by outside groups * Responsible for keeping sidewalks, steps, etc.

free of snow and ice * Performs other duties assigned by immediate supervisor and school principal Job Qualifications: * Knowledge of materials, equipment and methods used in cleaning operations and grounds maintenance * Ability to establish and maintain a harmonious relationship with staff, supervisors, co-workers, students, and public * Ability to follow oral and written instructions * Ability to climb ladders and perform physical labor required for cleaning duties including relative long hours while standing * Ability to lift and carry minimum of 50 lbs.
