FIELD TECHNICIAN (COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION)

Pacific Ridge Builders, Inc. is currently seeking a Field Technician to assist on commercial construction projects. Pacific Ridge Builders is a growing company that takes pride in having great talent on our team. Job description

Field Technician must have at least 2 years of experience in commercial construction in the Bay Area. This position works closely with the General Superintendent and Project Superintendents to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and of the highest quality.

Responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Assist field team with any rough and/or finished carpentry needs, which may include door hardware installation, metal stud framing, drywall, and punch list work

• Assist with painting, caulking, and concrete patching, as needed

• Repair ceiling tile, rubber base, as needed

• Build and maintain a good reputation with subcontractors, current and future clients, and other industry professionals

Experience & skills

• 2+ years of experience working on commercial job sites

• Has working knowledge of the sequencing of commercial construction work, as well as the ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications

• Eye for quality of workmanship, holding a high standard of craftsmanship, accountability, and overall project success

• Has strong verbal skills

• Dedicated to task completion

• Self-starter and problem solver

Education & certifications

• Valid Driver License required

• OSHA 30 is a plus

Compensation

Base Salary Depends on experience. Range: $20-40/HR

This is a full-time position; the compensation package will include both a health benefits and a retirement plan.
