Salary: $80K-140K

Requirements: 5+ years of civil and environmental engineering experience. Experience with planning, permitting, zoning, and work with the NPDES.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team, responsible for overseeing and managing various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in permitting and project management, with expertise in hydraulic software to ensure the design and implementation of effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage engineering projects from concept through to completion.

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning.

Prepare and submit permitting documentation in compliance with local regulations.

Utilize hydraulic software to perform analysis and design of water resource systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success.

Prepare project proposals, budgets, and schedules, and track progress against these metrics.

Conduct quality control and assurance on engineering designs and implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in project management and permitting processes.

Proficiency in hydraulic software, such as PondPack and Hydroflow.

Familiarity with zoning laws and regulations.

E.I.T. or P.E. certification is a plus.

Experience in stormwater management and erosion control is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
