LEU+ Field Mechanical Engineer

CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY - ONSITE - HOPKINS, SC LEU+ Field Mechanical Engineer The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $120,000 to $140,000 annually.

Job Summary: The Field Mechanical Engineer will report directly to the LEU+ Construction Manager and will collaborate closely with the EPC Contractor, Construction Superintendents, Project Engineers, CFFF Maintenance, and LEU+ Engineering to ensure that all mechanical construction / equipment installation work is performed in accordance with the approved engineering plans, drawings and specifications.

This role will maintain mechanical construction oversight of the project during construction of the building and installation of the manufacturing process, and during commissioning through turnover to operations.

Your Day-to-Day: This field position will be responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment for field activities supporting construction of the LEU+ fuel fabrication facility at CFFF.

The primary objective is to assist and support the Construction Superintendent and Project Engineer by overseeing the mechanical construction progress, interpreting drawings, and collaborating with the team to address mechanical issues and maintain quality standards.

This is an onsite role which will be located at our CFFF location in Hopkins, SC.
