Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety of our operations both onsite and in the office. The Safety Manager will lead all safety operations for the company and its various jobsites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all safety operations for the company and its jobsites.
Spend approximately 50% of the time onsite and 50% in the office.
Ensure all equipment is properly checked and maintained to safety standards.
Monitor/enforce safety protocols onsite to follow company safety program and OSHA compliance.
Assist in rewriting and implementing the company safety plan.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
Provide safety training and education to employees.
Investigate and report on incidents and near misses.
Stay updated on industry safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
3+ Years experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in the construction or excavation industry.
Strong knowledge of OSHA construction regulations.
Ability to work both onsite and in an office environment.
Preferred certifications CSP, ASP, CSP, OSHT, CHST, CIH etc.
