Description
The Kentucky Public Service Commission regulates the intrastate rates and services of more than 1,100investor-owned electric, natural gas, telephone, water and sewage utilities, customer-owned electric andtelephone cooperatives, water districts and associations, and certain aspects of gas pipelines. Our mission isto foster the provision of safe and reliable service at a reasonable price to the customers of jurisdictionalutilities while providing for the financial stability of those utilities by setting fair and just rates.
The Division Director for the Division of Financial Analysis is responsible for providing overall managementfor the staff of the Division of Financial Analysis to include branch manager and staff of the Revenue andRequirements Brand and the manager and staff of the Rate Design Branch within the Public Service Commission;and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Provides leadership and guidance to the Division of Financial Analysis management and staff.
Responsible for the overall management, direction and supervision of the Division of Financial Analysis staffin their work involving the analysis of different aspects of public utility rate regulation including, on alimited basis, preparation of staff testimony.
Coordinate the work of the Division of Financial Analysis with other PSC divisions and branches, as well asother government agencies, regulated utilities, and the public.
Participates in and oversees the analysis andevaluation of public utility rate regulation.
Assists the Public Service Commission in the developing and establishing of policies and procedures such asrate-making policies, employee policies, optimal internal organization and coordination of division activitieswith other divisions within the commission.
Coordinates and determines personnel needs, recruits, recommends employment of new personnel; plans andmanages training programs for new personnel.
Completes employee performance plans, audits and approves timesheets.
Represents Executive Director by attending meetings and gatherings when necessary.Preferred Skills and Abilities:
