Chipton-Ross is seeking a contract Test Engineer for an onsite opening in Troy, AL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Candidate must have at least 4 years experience with design, develop, and implement test fixtures, test procedures, and test software for electronic components and systems.

Candidate must have at least 4 years experience developing and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports.

Candidate must have at least 4 years experience collaborating with design engineering to ensure testability of electronic designs and identify potential test-related issues.

Candidate must have at least 4 years experience working with manufacturing teams to ensure test procedures are properly implemented on the production floor.

Candidate must have at least 4 years experience troubleshooting and resolving test-related issues, including fault isolation and debug of electronic components and systems.

Candidate must have at least 4 years experience developing and maintaining databases to track test results and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Candidate must have at least 4 years experience participating in design reviews, test readiness reviews, and other technical reviews to ensure test solutions meet requirements.

Candidate must be able to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and test methodologies to continuously improve test capabilities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to support the production of advanced missile systems in Troy, AL.

As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components and systems used in our missile products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to identify and resolve test-related issues.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

ADDITIONAL:

Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
