ENGINEERING INTERN
JOB SUMMARY:
We have an opportunity for an Engineering Intern at our Avancez - Arlington Facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and update Standardized Work Instructions for assembly processes
Complete Level One ergonomic job analysis
Create and update layouts in 2D AutoCAD to maintain Plant Layout
Knowledge of Lean principles is preferred
Develop Process Failure Mode Effects and Analysis in a cross functional group
Assess production validation runs against performance metrics
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros is a plus)
Ability to effectively communicate and present project updates to Plant Leadership Team
Ability to work independently as well as in Cross-functional Teams
All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills, verbal and written
Prefer AutoCAD experience
Current Engineering student
TRAVEL:
• Travel Required: Minimal

Ability to work 40 hours per-week
