IT Policy Analyst

Position Overview:

The IT Policy Analyst will support the drafting, analysis, and coordination of DoD CIO enterprise policies. This role will ensure that policies, standards, and governance documents are accurate, comprehensive, and consistent with DoD and federal guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis on existing and proposed DoD policies to identify gaps, overlaps, and compliance issues.

Draft and edit policy documents, standard operating procedures, and governance charters.

Support governance boards by preparing agendas, tracking action items, and maintaining decision records.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather policy inputs and feedback.

Assist in preparing policy-related training materials and awareness campaigns.

Maintain version control and ensure timely updates to all policy documentation.

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.

5+ years of experience in policy analysis and governance support within the DoD or federal government.

Strong research, writing, and documentation skills.

Familiarity with DoD policy development processes and governance structures.

Work Location: Onsite - Pentagon/Rosslyn/NCR secure facilities with limited remote flexibility.
