Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Department: Physician Billing

Position Summary

Summary:

The Physician Billing department provides billing service to our physicians, including ancillary departments. This position, under the direction of the Billing Representative Supervisor and Manager, will facilitate his/her team processes by working collaboratively with the team to ensure completion of tasks timely, effectively and efficiently. This will be done by maintaining good working relationships and by coordinating with the supervisor/manager on goals, priorities, team needs and achievements.

Education Required

• Must complete in-house orientation program

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience And Skills

• Speaks, reads and writes English

• 2 to 3 years of Physician Billing experience.

• Knowledge of IDX and Athena Billing Systems.

License/Certifications
