Youth English Pastor

The search committee of Toledo Chinese Alliance Church is seeking a Youth English Pastor.

Qualifications:

Able to be Accredited by the Christian & Missionary Alliance

Have Undergraduate/Graduate-level seminary training

Have experience working with both youth and families

Have a creative, missional mindset

Have an understanding of Asian-American culture

Must be in full agreement with the Christian & Missionary Alliance Statement of Faith

Ministry Style:

Must be a people person with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a team player who is comfortable functioning within the multilingual/cultural ethnic church environment

Spiritual Gifts: strong in preaching and teaching, leadership and team building, capable in administration

Job Description: The Youth English Pastor will report to the Senior Pastor and will fulfill the following roles:

Preaching for the weekly English service

Teaching Sunday School

Plan and lead Youth Fellowship once a month

Enlist and guide youth to oversee and lead certain church-wide events (ex: Mother's and Father's Day events, etc.)

Be available for any pastoral needs (counseling teens, talking with parents), as needed

Pursue Ordination with the C&MA
