As a Paint Operator, you will be responsible for applying coatings to a variety of manufactured parts, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications. Your key responsibilities will include:

Surface Preparation: Cleaning, degreasing, masking, and preparing surfaces for painting.

Paint Application: Operating spray guns, electrostatic sprayers, or other painting equipment to apply various types of paints, coatings, and finishes.

Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring even coverage, proper thickness, and adherence to quality standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment, booths, and tools.

Mixing and Blending: Accurately mixing and blending paints to achieve desired colors and consistencies.

Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) and following hazardous material handling procedures.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of paint usage, production logs, and quality checks.

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving minor issues with equipment or paint application.

What We're Looking For (Skills & Qualifications):

Experience: Proven experience as a Paint Operator, Industrial Painter, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment (1-3+ years preferred).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating various painting equipment

Familiarity with different types of industrial paints and coatings.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Knowledge of surface preparation techniques.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail to ensure flawless finishes and identify imperfections.

Dexterity & Hand-Eye Coordination: Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise paint application.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to safety procedures and practices.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and adapt to changing production needs.

Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00
