Paralegal Responsibilities:

Support attorneys by drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence

Track court deadlines, hearings, and filing schedules with close attention to detail

Maintain client files, organize case documents, and support litigation readiness

Communicate with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information

Perform legal research and assist with initial client intake tasks

Coordinate attorney time tracking and help prepare billing reports

Assist across a variety of practice areas in a true team-based setting

Paralegal Requirements:

1-2+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in any legal practice area

Strong multitasking and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable in a direct feedback environment

Professional communication skills with clients, attorneys, and internal staff

Familiarity with Excel and timekeeping software (Leap or Clio is a plus)

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Must be based near Waco and available to work fully onsite
