We are currently looking for a Full Time Blackjack Floor Supervisor to join our Artesian Casino Blackjack Floor Unit 1 team located at the Artesian Casino working .
Summary:
Ensures excellent service to our patrons; supervise personnel working in their respective areas. Preserve the integrity of the games with close scrutiny of dealers and patrons.
Responsibilities:

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Initiates and observes the dealers during the table banks open and close process, including verifying the playing cards, ensuring the shuffle machine is in working condition, and verifying the table bank paperwork is completed, signed, and submitted to the Pit Supervisor/ Shift Supervisor or locked in a table bank
* Controls table bank inventory by initiating and completing fills to the table bank and credits to the table bank following all electronic and paper process provided and communicate errors in this process through proper line of support
* Initially investigates all patron disputes using available means such as: dealer information, player information, and surveillance information to resolve the dispute, report all decisions and information to the next level supervisor or line of support, prepare information reports as needed for documentation
* Maintains physical presence on casino floor to ensure all games are played within compliance regulations, continually observe games in progress for possible irregularities in player or dealer conduct, and inform next level supervisor or line of suppor of any deviation from standard dealing procedures
* Identifies barred patrons using the table view system and immediately communicates barred persons information to the next level supervisor or line of support
* Prepares and maintains the rotation form and early out list for all dealers on a daily basis and communicates this information in written format to the incoming relief Floor Supervisor
* Communicates all information about assigned section to the incoming relief supervision including table losses, tracked players, and irregular situations
* Assumes the Pit Supervisor role in the absence of the Pit Supervisor, including all Pit paperwork, directs the opening and closing of tables, reports any concerns to the Pit or Shift Supervisor upon their return, and assumes dealer role when needed due to staffing or unexpected increase in business
* Maintains knowledge of and enforce all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Assists with orientation, special activities and training on specific procedures, tasks or equipment
* Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
* Communicates employee concerns to the next level supervision or management and participates in investigations while maintaining confidentiality; effectively resolves all minor concerns or complaints
* Performs all other duties as assigned
