Job Description
Supplier Management & Qualification: Evaluate, select, and qualify new suppliers based on quality, capability, and compliance with company standards and sustainability goals.
Audits & Assessments: Conduct regular supplier audits, performance reviews, and on-site assessments to ensure adherence to ISO 9001, customer requirements, and internal quality systems.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure supplier components meet design specifications, industry regulations, and quality standards through inspection, testing, and validation processes.
Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues; lead root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions (CAPA), and follow-up on implementation effectiveness.
Continuous Improvement: Work with suppliers to implement process improvements using Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality tools to reduce defects and improve delivery performance.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate supplier records, quality documentation, and performance metrics; generate reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure a seamless flow of quality components and timely resolution of quality concerns.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related field
3-5+ years of experience in a supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality engineering role
Experience in industrial or commercial manufacturing preferred; energy or heating systems a plus
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, PPAP, FAI, APQP, and other quality tools
Proficient in root cause analysis (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys) and corrective action implementation
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel to supplier sites as required
