Full-time Ferrous Processing and Trading (FPT), a recognized industry leader in providing high-quality scrap metal to the automotive, appliance, manufacturing, and other markets has an immediate opening for a Data Entry Clerk. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible will enter data related to scrap loads and performing other related duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

Retrieves source files and work from the data center each day

Verifies and logs the receipts of data and obtains any data that is missing

Uses data entry equipment to record assigned data

Resolves minor processing problems; seeks assistance from a supervisor or other appropriate staff for issues beyond immediate expertise

Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods

Reviews incoming paperwork for inconsistencies between supplier and customer

Manages, organizes, and files source documents to ensure timely payments

Provides timely and accurate reporting to customers on monthly transactions

Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information

Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Excellent and precise data entry and typing skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good organizational skills
