Position Summary: Lead and manage the Plastics Launch Process Engineering & Tooling Engineering Group.

Provide leadership in the development and optimization of corporate processes, systems, and best practices.

Serve as the process owner of the Shape Injection Molding Tool Build Standard and mentor Shape Plastics Manufacturing globally.

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: * Lead and manage the Plastics Corporate Tooling Engineering Group.

* Coordination with the Plastics Mold Fillling Analysis Group (e.g., warp, material, tonnage, and flow applications) * Manage and lead the "technical transition" of new processes and innovations in areas of responsibility.

* Provide leadership in the development and optimization of corporate processes and systems in areas of responsibility.

* Manage global tooling supply base relationships, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and tool tracking.

* Oversee tooling members of the to ensure effective tool launches, including tooling loops, corrections, budget management, time management, problem solving, and issue resolution.

* Drive tooling innovations supporting world-class injection molding performance.

* Mentor NetShape Tooling and Process Engineers globally.

* Serve as the process owner of the Shape Injection Molding Tool Build Standard.

* Co-owner of "Best Practice" process with Plastics Technical Managers.

* Develop systems and methods to measure team performance.

* Align departmental responsibilities and priorities with NetShape corporate goals.

* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Business field * 10+ years of manufacturing and engineering related leadership * Proven ability to direct resources and provide strategic direction to engineers * Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing methods * Experience in an automotive related field preferred * Connection to global tooling shops required
