Cottage Room Attendant

Job Summary:

REPORTS TO: Cottages Housekeeping Manager

As a Housekeeper you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Essential Job Functions Are:

Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash.

Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

Report any damages or repairs needed to management.

Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.

Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.

Familiar with Lost and found policy, by taken responsibility by submitting items immediate to Management

Qualifications and Requirements:

1 Year of Prior Related Housekeeping Experience Preferred.

Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work and maintain a high level of performance.

Prioritization and time management skills.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
